The National Eagle Center in Wabasha
Saturday,September 12, 2015
A trip to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha is an unforgettable experience for people of all ages. Have you ever wondered "How much does an eagle weigh?" "How big is their wingspan?" The answers await you in an engaging and entertaining live eagle program that awaits our group arrival. Meet up and personal some of the residents that live there and learn about their rescue story.
We've also included another fun stop...Lark Toys. For over a quarter of a century, LARK Toys has offered remarkable toys, most notably our own handmade heirloom wooden toys. With over 20,000 sq. ft. to explore, it's one of the largest family owned & operated specialty toy stores in the country. First... you'll want to take time to ride the carousel. This is unlike any other carousel in the world. Hand-carved from basswood and designed with exquisite detail, each animal is a rideable work of art. Next.... Take a stroll through their antique collection and enjoy thousands of toys from eras past. You may notice Howdy Doody, little green army men, Barbie, Erector sets, elegant dolls, tin doll houses, a bicycle surrey, pedal cars, nesting dolls, and more. Allow your friends from Happy Trails Tours and Trobec Bus Company handle all the arrangements as we embark on this informative and nostalgic day trip to Wabasha, Minnesota.
