Polar Bear Tundra Adventure
Churchill, Manitoba - Hudson Bay, Canada October 18-23, 2018
Churchill, Manitoba - Hudson Bay, Canada October 18-23, 2018
This is our 4th Arctic Adventure to see the Polar Bears in Churchill, Manitoba. This tour is amazing! Here's the critical part. Because it's "prime polar bear season" these rooms are highly sought after. They will not allow me to hold them without a signed contract promising to use them! But this also makes deposits financially steep and non-refundable. So we encourage you to insure this tour! We offer the travel protection insurance for all of our guests and prices vary according to your age and the cost of your tour. Travel insurance offers protection for unforeseen events, should they occur. Should you have to cancel due to an unforeseen event, you will have to pay the tour entirely in full before filing a claim for reimbursement. We also want you to know that when you register for this tour and pay your initial deposit down, be in good health. In other words, don't be in the midst of medical crisis when you register. Be sure your doctor would give you "two thumbs up" to travel. We encourage everyone to insure the tour when you pay your initial deposit.
The tour is NOT strenuous at all! Though the roads in the tundra when in search of the polar bears may be a bit bumpy at times, the tundra coaches are comfortable, warm and there is very little walking involved even on the area tour. They are also equipped with restrooms and open air viewing where you can get some great photos!
To secure your seat, send us your first deposit of $500 as soon as you receive this letter. That will secure your seat on the bus, your airline ticket and your room at the Lazy Bear Lodge. Unfortunately, we cannot take credit cards for this tour. The Lazy Bear prefers not to take them because if they did, it would only mean the tour would be that much higher in price.
You will have a 2nd deposit due of $1000 on September 1, 2017 and a 3rd deposit of $1000 due on January 1, 2018. A 4th deposit is due of $1000 is due on April 1, 2018. The final balance due will be due July 1, 2018.
The photo of the polar bear on the letter head was taken by one of customers on our tour to Churchill in November 2010. Isn’t it great? We actually get that close but don’t worry, we always felt SAFE. Just bring extra batteries for your digital camera and plenty of memory as you’ll click hundreds of pix.
My Warmest Regards,
Diane Olds
