Day 1 – Tue, Dec. 03 Travel to Romeoville, Illinois 323 miles from Eau Clair, Wisconsin (5.5 hours)
Our boarding will begin as early as 5 am from Grand Rapids, MN and then continue along #169, to #53 through the Iron Range and to
Duluth. We will also pick folks up from Central Minnesota in addition to limited areas in the Twin Cities blending everyone together in Eau
Clair, Wisconsin, before continuing Southeast. About 4-6 weeks prior to departure, we will be able to know the specifics on the time and
place of boarding.
11:30 am- Arrive to Eau Clair, Wisconsin to the Oakwood Mall (Food Court). We will be here about one hour.
12:30 pm- Re-board the coach. Other stops will be made as the day goes along.
Enjoy your day getting acquainted with fellow travelers. We’ll make comfort stops as the day progresses. We stop every 2 ½ - 3 hours. Set
your seats back and enjoy fellow travelers and the fact that you can relax and let our trusty driver take the wheel. We have a mid-afternoon
comfort stop planned in Poynette, Wisconsin at the Luv’s Travel Plaza.

Day 2 - Wed, Dec. 04 Travel to Nashville, Tennessee 480 miles
6:00 am- Breakfast begins. Set your luggage out at this same time (6 am) providing they have porters.
If no porter, kindly bring you suitcase to the lobby area so that the driver can load it on the bus.
6:45 am- Be on board the coach and travel to Nashville.
Shortly afterwards, we'll travel to Nashville, our destination city where our exciting Christmas Holiday awaits! This is another day dedicated
to traveling south so set your seats back, enjoy the company of fellow travelers and get ready for a fun filled day. As we cross the
Illinois/Indiana border, we’ll move into eastern-time zone. We’ll weave back into central time zone once we get into Kentucky. Lunch at a
Bob Evans (paying on own).

6:30 pm- Boarding begins for the General Jackson Showboat. Boat departs at 7 pm.
Get ready to enjoy a delightful dinner show and cruise. The General Jackson is a 300-foot vessel styled in the grand tradition of the
paddlewheel riverboats that cruised the great Southern waterways in the 1800’s. Immerse yourself in the proud tradition of the great

This hotel is located in the heart of Pigeon Forge and is a large resort property with very cute mountain themed rooms. Breakfast is offered
along with luggage handling, Free Wi-Fi and a future Indoor Waterpark. (You won’t be using that as first of all… you won’t have time and
secondly, it’s not completed yet. Your extra time will be spent at Dollywood’s Theme Park!

We’ll make stops along the way for comfort and lunch.

dining. For some rest and relaxation, visit the 4 hot tubs. Enjoy American cuisine, a poolside location, and ocean views at the
two onsite restaurants. In addition to a bar and a gym, guests can connect to free in-room WiFi. This resort also offers …… 3
outdoor pools and an indoor pool, with a lazy river and pool umbrellas, Cooked-to-order breakfast (surcharge), Rooms also

This show is also known as the Christmas Show of the South! It is in its 36 th season of enchanting holiday performances this

dance. With highly acclaimed singers, cloggers, and musicians, this is a show not to be missed.

than with a full-day trip from Myrtle Beach to Charleston. This day offers a captivating blend of historical landmarks, scenic
beauty, and cultural charm that will transport visitors back in time. While walking the cobblestone streets of Charleston’s
historic district or riding in a horse-drawn carriage this immersive day promises to be an unforgettable adventure.
11:00 am – Arrive to beautiful Charleston, South Carolina to the Old City Market.
We will spend 2 ½ hours here where we can stroll, shop and get lunch in historic Charleston. Enjoy it as per your
own agenda.
1:30 pm- Gather for a two-hour Charleston City Tour followed by the Charleston Museum.
6:00 pm- Prepare yourselves for another amazing dinner at the Charleston Crab House on James Island.
Nestled amongst the deep blue waters of the Charleston Harbor and the meandering Stono and Folly
Rivers, James Island boasts scenic marsh views and a plethora of majestic trees. This menu is a plated dinner to include

After dinner, we’ll embark on a holiday riding adventure on James Island to see the Festival of Lights, with free
time to explore the many wonderous Christmas attractions available inside the park. The Charleston Holiday

This hotel is nestled in Antler Hill Village just steps from the Winery. Village Hotel occupies a central-to-everything location near quilts-like
farm fields that stretch along the banks of the French Broad River. It is a great location to the estate.
6:00 pm- Board the bus and travel to the Biltmore Estate for a 6:30 pm dinner at the Stable Café right on the estate grounds.

7:45 pm- We will begin our Biltmore Estate Christmas Candlelight Tour!
Christmas at Biltmore Estate is a magical time to visit America’s largest home. Candles are burning brightly, and fires are roaring, bringing
warmth to the grand rooms. Music fills the halls with melodious voices accompanied by the piano in the stunning Winter Garden. A special
day in Biltmore’s history was Christmas Eve in 1895 when George Washington Vanderbilt III opened the doors for the first time to family
and friends. Today, over a million people journey to Asheville, North Carolina, to see this impressive home, and Christmas is one of the
most popular times to visit.

Day 8- Tue, Dec 10 th Travel to Nashville, Tennessee – Grand Ol’ Opry (294 Miles)
6:30-9:00 am- Enjoy a full breakfast at the Village Hotel. Set your luggage outside your doors at 8 am.
We are on the return of this wonderful Southern Christmas tour following some of the same routing as when we set out 8 days
earlier. Set your seats back as we travel to Nashville on the flip side of this 10-day vacation. Stops for lunch and comfort will
be made as the day goes along and will be announced once the tour departs that day.

4:00 pm- Board the coach and travel to our dinner venue. (Time to be announced by our guide)
4:30 pm- Settle in for a delicious family style meal at Paula Deens Family Kitchen.
Our evening meal includes dinner at Paula Deen’s (a family-style meal served with several meat options and all the fixings). Yummy!
6:00 pm- Be in your seats for a short ride to the Opry House for the Grand Ole Opry
7:00 pm- Our evening show brings us to the performance of Nashville’s must-see Grand Ole Opry!
This is the world’s longest running live radio show. At the time this brochure is being created, we do not know who will be
performing on this night. About two weeks out you can Google: The Grand Ol Opry for the line-up. Last year the line up was
fabulous! So be patient, and just stay tuned as we come closer to the date of the show. (B D)
Day 09 - Wed, Dec 11 Saying Good-Bye to Nashville – Travel to Romeoville, Illinois (480 Miles)
6:30-7:45 am - A full Breakfast is served at the hotel. Set your luggage outside your doors when you go to eat.
8:00 am- Be on board the coach. Wheels are rolling!
We’ll start our morning off bright and early after a full Breakfast (included). We'll make stops along the way ~
Set your seats back and enjoy the scenery and the company of fellow travelers.
10:30 am - Mid-Morning Stop: ½ hour – Louisville Area-Travel Plaza
1:45 pm- Lunch Stop: Bob Evan’s Restaurant in Indianapolis (spend about 1 ¼ hours here)
3:00 pm- Continue our way to Romeoville with a 6:30 pm estimated arrival. (200 miles / 3 hours travel time)

This property has coffeemakers, irons & ironing boards as well as hair dryers. They offer breakfast in the morning.
They do not offer an in- house restaurant. Restaurants do deliver. We will offer a complimentary shuttle to the Cracker Barrel nearby
for those interested. Dinner is at your leisure this evening.
Day 7 – Thu, Dec 12 Homeward Bound With Many Fond Memories 445 Miles to Duluth/ 450 to Sartell
6:30 - 7:15 am–hot breakfast is served at the hotel prior to check out. Set your luggage outside your doors by 6:30.
7:30 am – Be on board the coach – Wheels are Rolling for home. We are about 5 hours to Eau Clair ~Shuttle Transfer/ Lunch.
1:30 pm- Estimated arrival to Eau Clair – Oakwood Mall. We’ll say good-bye to our friends from Central MN.
2:30 pm- Coach and Shuttle depart from Eau Clair for home. The Oakwood Mall will also serve as our lunch stop.
Central Minnesota will arrive home around 5:45 pm to Sartell.
Our friends from the Duluth / Superior area will arrive home between 5:30 pm.
Our friends from the Iron Range Cities – 7:00 pm to Eveleth; 7:20 pm to Virginia; 7:50 pm to Hibbing; 8:30 pm to Rapids. (B)

Dress Code & How to Pack: The tour is comfortable and casual. The most important thing is to be relaxed and enjoy yourself. It can get chilly in the
mountains in the evenings so plan on layering clothing as you need it. Wear comfortable shoes, bring an umbrella and a raincoat. Bring a warm jacket. Don’t
forget your camera and battery charger. For some, you may wish to bring a swimming suit for hotels with pools.
Meals: The meals we include offer plated, buffet and family style experiences. Let us know if you have any special dietary needs.
Hotels: The hotels are 3 & 4 Star. Specifics on each property is listed in the brochure enclosed. All hotels offer elevators, Free Wi-Fi, many have indoor or
outdoor pools, two queen or double beds. Though they offer two per room, couples may find they have one King bed. Be sure to let us know if you need

Fully Guided with Professional Drivers and Escorts: Our tour managers are very personable and will greet each of you as they take great care in
operating a well-organized tour. Our drivers are professional and very experienced.
Luggage: Pack one suitcase each. This suitcase is delivered each night to your rooms by the porter. (Tips are included so no need to tip them more). You
may bring a carry-on bag, as well, on board. Carry-on bags are handled by yourself. Do not make them heavier than what you can carrry.
The Coach: The coach is a beautiful 56 passenger motorcoach with reclining seats, big windows, restroom, TV’, CD & DVD and chartered through
Minnesota Coaches Bus Company, Duluth. It has seatbelts, foot-rests, cup holders and spacious leg room. It also has a restroom, microphone. Wi-Fi & 110
outlets are also offered. You will need to be able to climb about 6 steps to get inside.
Shuttles : Sometimes, if an area where we promised a boarding location falls short in numbers, we may have to offer a small shuttle vehicle to help save costs or have you meet at a location along our route. We'd rather run a shuttle than totally cancel the convenience of a ride for folks for this tour.
We hope you'll understand why we occassionally offer smaller shuttle vehicles. By smaller vehicle such as a car or SUV. The shuttle we generally run are a mini-coach. Thank you.
SEATING: We will prearrange all seating prior to boarding. We do not rotate seats so you will keep the seat you have throughout the tour. If you have
a special need for seating, kindly let us know in advance. We will do our best to accommodate special requests but much will depend on when you register.
There are only a few seats in front and they are reserved for tour director and step on guides. Look for a “sign” with your name on your seat. We will
announce your seat location prior to departure.
Comfort Stops: We stop every 2 - 3 hours for breaks. PLEASE NOTE: Sometimes we end up on a stretch of road that may prevent us from stopping
exactly at 2.5 or 3 hours. We do our best to accommodate but remember…there’s also a restroom on board IF you need it. Thank you for your
understanding.
Itinerary and Timing: We try our best to stay on the schedule set but we need you to do your part. If you know you need more time to get to the coach,please adjust your schedule to accommodate the time set. This will help us all stay on schedule. Sometimes we have NO control over the estimated time we arrive to a destination. It may have to do with traffic due to heavy congestion and weather could play a part in our timing.
