The lovely state of Indiana has been anxiously waiting for bus groups to return to their lovely state! With just over 600 residents, Shipshewana welcomes over a million visitors each year. The rich heritage which began in the 1800's continues to today with Amish, Mennonite and faith based influences in the make-up of this northern Indiana town. We’ve changed up the itinerary to include the Patchwork Quilt Gardens along the Heritage Trail of the Amish countryside and backroads. The colorful patchwork of quilt-inspired gardens and hand-painted, quilt-themed, super-sized murals deliver dazzling views throughout our journey! Expect more than a million blooms in vibrant reds, oranges, purples and more. But wait! There’s so much more in this six day adventure to Shipshewana and Northern Indiana. We have reserved seats at the brand new Blue Gate Performing Art Center to see 1960’s pop rock singer, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap (Here’s a bit of Iron Range trivia…Gary was born in Hibbing, MN!) We’ll also enjoy an Amish comedy production, “Getting Sarah Married”! Add to the fun, we’ll also attend an Amish Neighborhood Dinner Party and a Haystack Lunch, horse-drawn carriage rides and more.
