| GRAND OL’ OPRY CLASSIC COUNTRY • June 15-17, 2012 Friday, June 15th Day 1: Step on board a beautiful Trobec motor coach and we’ll take you a three day adventure to hear some of the good ol’ fashioned music. You know. The kind you heard on the Grand Ol’ Opry back in the 60’s and 70’s and even the 80’s. So…settle in to your comfortable seat, enjoy the company of fellow travelers as we travel south east to south central Wisconsin. Our first night’s lodging will be in Fort Atkinson. Our lodging is the Holiday Inn. Tonight we’ve included a delicious fish (Steamed Norwegian Cod) or chicken (Buttermilk Marinated Southern Fried Baked Chicken) at the Fireside Theater Restaurant. Once you arrive, you’ll see why it’s the most popular place to eat in Ft Atkinson! We’ll enjoy the evening here. Saturday, June 16th Day 2: We'll enjoy a nice breakfast this morning before traveling to the Wisconsin Dells (1 ½ hours away). We’ll spend a little time browsing the downtown area of the Dells before taking you to the Crystal Grand Theater for the Legends in Concert show. You will hear their signature Hit songs “Just Good Ol’ Boys”, “Don’t Touch Me”, Pop A Top”, “Too Old to Die Young”, “I Don’t Want to Have to Marry You” , “Bandy the Rodeo Clown” and many more. Our seats are in the center right section- Rows 3-9. After the show, we’ve got a real treat in store! We’ll take you to Dells Boat Tours for an evening sunset dinner cruise. The meal served is a combination plate…. 6 oz sirloin and 4 oz lobster tail. Of course included is also appetizers, roasted potato wedges, vegetable of the day and desserts, coffee, hot tea and lemonade. After our cruise, we’ll settle in at the BW Baraboo Inn- just a few miles down the road. Sunday, June 17th Day 3: We'll enjoy a nice breakfast this morning before traveling home. But wait…we have one more visit to make before we leave Baraboo. It’s Circus World. Even adults LOVE this place. They have many live shows with acrobats, animal trainers, original circus train cars, elephant rides and lots of places to just sit and take five. There’s even places to get a cup of coffee and lunch as well as time to peek into the gift shop before we leave. After lunch, we’ll make our way homeward. Expected time of arrival is as follows; Twin Cities area: 4:30 pm; St Cloud: 5:30 pm; Rice: 5:45 pm; 6:00 pm; Brainerd: 6:30 pm. (Estimates) |
