Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Deposits of $125 ($25 of which is non-refundable) are due with the registration form. |

Final payments are due by July 30th, 2010, and are refundable with cancellations made by August 1, 2010. Cancellations between August 1st - September 1, 2010, are hinged on what Happy Trails Tours receives back from hotels, theaters, restaurants and charters. No refunds for cancellations made after September 1st, 2010. |

Your final documents will arrive in mid September AFTER final payments have been received. This packet of information will include a day-by-day itinerary, luggage tags, phone & address of hotel property, suggestions on how to pack and boarding schedules. |

Day 1: Wednesday, September 29
Early morning departures from Duluth area and the Iron Range. As the tour fills out and it gets closer to the departure date, we’ll finalize the boarding details. Breakfast break is in Grand Rapids at the Forest Lake Restaurant - paying on own - before continuing west to Bismarck.
8:30 AM - (or a little earlier, if possible) The bus departs Grand Rapids and travels west to North Dakota.
10:30 AM - Rest stop in Walker
12:30 PM - Lunch, paying on own, in the Fargo area…. (West Acres Mall in Fargo)
1:30 PM - Board the coach to continue on to Bismarck, ND (195 more miles)
5:00 PM - Arrive to the Ramkota Hotel 800 S 3rd Street, Bismarck, ND (701-701-258-7700)
A welcome reception awaits us upon our arrival. Our luggage will be delivered to our rooms while we enjoy the refreshments served by the hotel. This is a lovely full service property with an indoor pool, lounge, restaurant, in-room coffee makers, hair dryers, full size ironing boards and irons, exercise rooms, casino, business center and more. Evening dinner and activities are on your own tonight.

Day 2: Thursday, September 30
6:45 - 7:45 AM - Enjoy a full breakfast at the hotel. A full American breakfast is served at the hotel: Room: Seasons 1 & 11
7:45 AM - Board the coach - Travel to Minot for the Norsk Hostfest Festival. (109 miles away- 2 ½ hours)
10:15 AM - Arrive to the Norsk Hostfest ....to include a Vince Gill’s Show afternoon show and time to enjoy the festival.
Schedules of all the day-by-day festival events will be handed out as you enter the building today. All activities, shows, eateries, etc... are inside. Enjoy meals, entertainment, crafts, artists, fashion shows, ceremonies and more. The Peking Acrobats, Oak Ridge Boys, Williams & Ree, Bjoro Haaland, Norway‘s Kentucky Riders and more… are performing on some of the stages in the smaller theater and are FREE.
12:30 PM - Walk to the Great Hall of Vikings -take your seats for Vince Gill’s Show - 1:00 PM show.
After the show (they generally last about 90 minutes) ….the rest of the afternoon and evening is yours to spend at your leisure.
The rest of your time at the festival today may be spent at your leisure.
7:00 PM - Board the bus and we’ll travel back to Bismarck - Our 2nd night stay at the Ramkota. (We apologize for having to stay so far from Minot but it couldn’t be helped. Believe it or not, many groups do stay this far out due to the difficulty in securing rooms in Minot. We really felt folks would like seeing Vince Gill and we can only get two nights in Minot. Thank you for your understanding).
Day 3: Friday, October 1st
6:30 - 8:00 AM - A full breakfast is served at the hotel - Enjoy. 7:00 AM - Set your luggage outside your doors for the porters.
8:00 AM - Board the coach for your ride to Minot ~10:30 AM - Arrive to the Norsk Hostfest.

1:00 PM - Take your seats for the Gaither Vocal Band ~ New to Hostfest this year! You’re going to love this group!
Many of you have seen The Gaither Vocal Band on the Gaither Homecoming tours that Happy Trails Tours has done! They are fantastic and sing Southern Gospel Music and are very entertaining to say the least. Enjoy!
5:30 PM - For those ready to call it a day….jump on board the bus and we’ll bring you the hotel tonight where you can rest up for another fun day planned tomorrow.
6:00 PM - Comfort Inn 1515 22nd Street SW Minot, ND (701-852-2201)
Our luggage was delivered to our rooms earlier today so you should just be able to settle in for the night with little concern or waiting for suitcases. This is a lovely property has an indoor pool, in-room coffee makers, hair dryers, full size ironing boards and irons, and is located next to the Dakota Square Mall and an Applebees Restaurant and lounge. You will be very comfortable here.
9:30 PM - For those who stayed behind - the bus will return at 9:30 pm, pick you up and bring you to hotel.
Day 4: Saturday, October 2nd
6:30 - 8:30 AM - A light Breakfast is served in the breakfast room - Go at your leisure.
8:30 AM - Board the coach for your ride to the Norsk Hostfest Festival--- Arriving around 9 AM.
9:00 AM - Arrive to the Norsk Hostfest.

What a fun show this will be. Get ready to turn back to the clocks to the 50’s and 60’s as they Temptations and the Four Tops entertain us.
4:30 PM - Dinner, included, “En To Tre” - (Oslo Hall) Scandinavian dining experience!
Savor a delicious 3-course dinner menu of modern an traditional Norwegian cuisine form land, air an sea. …all prepared by master chefs, Willy Hansen and Stale Johnsen. After our wonderful dinner, we’re on our own until Daniel’s show at 7 pm. At 6:30 PM begin working your way to the Great Hall of the Vikings for the Daniel O‘ Donnell show.

Day 5: Sunday, October 3rd
6:30 - 8:30 AM - Enjoy another light Breakfast at the hotel. (Help yourselves!)
7:30 AM - Set your suitcases outside your door - 8:30 AM- The coach departs the hotel for home.
12:30 PM - Arrive to Grand Forks for lunch stop. (Columbia Mall)
1:35 PM - Depart for the rest of the journey homeward~4:00 PM - Quick stop in Bemidji (20 min. restroom break)
5:15 - 6:15 PM - Arrive to Grand Rapids (dinner break) and to drop off at the Forest Lake Restaurant (Lower Lot)
Folks from Duluth and Cloquet will switch vehicles after dinner and they will travel home by way of 2 .
6:15 PM - Everyone re-boards the coaches and shuttle vehicle for home.
(Estimated arrival home to Cloquet @ 7:30 PM and Duluth @ 8:00 PM.)
7:15 PM - Arrive to Hibbing Super 8 / 7:45 PM - Arrive to Virginia Village Inn / 8:00 PM - Arrive to Eveleth
