Mark Twain’s Mississippi

This is a new musical based on Mark Twain’s Classic, “Life on the Mississippi.”
It’s performed aboard the Minnesota Centennial Showboat docked on the Mississippi River at Harriet Island in St Paul.

Young Samuel Clemens leaves home to learn steamboat piloting in 1858 and begins the most joyous time of his life, navigating his way from boy to man and from Samuel Clemens to Mark Twain. With original acoustic music, this stirring tale is fit for folks of all ages. This fun musical event is performed in a lovely theater inside the Showboat and also includes a delightful sit-down lunch. The boat stays docked on the banks of the Mississippi at Harriet Island. Your Tour Includes the Following:
  • Motor Coach Transportation from Grand Rapids, Hibbing, Virginia, Eveleth, Duluth and Scanlon
  • Dinner on board the Showboat (Salad, sautéed chicken breast; roasted garlic potatoes, dinner rolls, dessert & beverage.)
  • Great seats on the Minnesota Centennial Showboat docked at Harriet Island in St Paul.
Estimated departure from the various towns, are as follows;
5:00 am @ Grand Rapids Forest Lake Restaurant – Lower Lot; 5:45 am @ Hibbing Super Eight Motel;
6:15 am @ Virginia Village Inn; 6:30 am @ Eveleth Super Eight;
7:30 – 8:30 am – Breakfast break at Perkins Miller Hill Mall – paying on own.
8:30 am @ Duluth Perkins Miller Hill Mall; 9:00 am @ Scanlon Park & Ride

11:00 am - Arrive to St Paul for early lunch – After lunch, we’ll transfer to the theater for the show.
1:00 pm - Take your seats for the Mark Twain Musical; 3:30 pm- Re-board the coach and continue home ~
Estimated arrival home from St Paul;
5:30 pm to Scanlon/Cloquet; 6:00 pm- Duluth; 7:30 pm to Eveleth; 7:45 pm to Virginia;
8:15 pm to Hibbing; 8:45 to Grand Rapids.
A $50.00 deposit is due at the time of registering. It is non-refundable. It is transferable should you have to cancel. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis. We need a minimum of 30 travelers on board- by the deadline date of April 10, 2012.
