Door County, Wisconsin: Though Door County has a year round population of 28,000, it experiences a tourist explosion each summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day, as Lake Michigan’s cold gives way to spectacular warm summer days. It’s home to five state parks all along six miles of the Green Bay shoreline. A Fish boil is the most popular meal served for a visiting tourist and we’ve got one planned on our first night. And shopping…well let’s just say, we’ve made time to do some of that, as well. Door County also prides itself in it’s cherry orchards, which by the way there are over 2200 acres of cherry orchards not counting the many apple orchards there. Our resorts offers a great view of spectacular sunsets and is located directly on the shores of Lake Michigan. So, join us on this 5 day tour to beautiful Door County, Wisconsin!
