| “Daniel’s Show” Daniel O’ Donnell has enjoyed worldwide success in recent years with his unique blend of country music, 60’s pops, inspirational ballads and Irish standards. Featured on five nationally televised PBS specials (2005’s Branson Encore; 2004’s Daniel O’ Donnell Songs of Faith; 2003’s Daniel O’Donnell & Friends; and 2002’s The Daniel O’ Donnell Show, as well as Evergreen Christmas with Daniel), O’ Donnell’s LIVE show is especially popular. O’Donnell’s easy-going entertainment on-stage personality makes each live show an exciting event; in addition to the usual set list, different songs are sprinkled in each evening and on stage patter and audience participation give each show a new and distinct feel. Though not confirmed, it’s very likely Mary Duff will perform, as well. Last time Daniel came to the Target Center, over 100 buses filled with enthusiastic travelers attended this 3+ hour show. At the end of the performance, he came out and greeted the group. It was a great show! “Como Park Conservatory and Zoo Luncheon & Tour” We’ll embark on a journey through the many gardens of Marjorie McNeely Conservatory discovering the beauty of the natural world. With our tour, a guided behind-the-scene visit to the production greenhouse and history of the conservatory begins our day. After the tour, we’ll get a close up and personal “animal encounter” in one of the private rooms overlooking the Como Zoo, Marjorie McNeely Conservatory or the Tropical Encounters exhibit. Once the tour concludes….a deluxe buffet luncheon has been catered just for us. There’s even a little time to explore some of the other exhibits and the gift shop as per your own agenda before traveling home. |

12:15 - 1:15 PM - Dinner break, paying on own, Duluth Perkins Restaurant

3:00 PM - Arrive to St Paul - Arrive to the hotel - check in.

Relax a bit at the hotel before going out for tonight‘s dinner and show. Dress Code: Comfortable and casual
5:00 PM - Board the bus and travel to Minneapolis.
5:45 PM - Dinner, included at the Target Center - NBA Restaurant - A wonderful buffet dinner.
After dinner, folks may walk to the their seats in the arena.
7:00 PM - Curtain Call: Daniel O’ Donnell - The show will last about 3 hours. Enjoy Daniel - last year we stayed seated until our bus pulled up out front - This kept thousands of folks from bottlenecking the doors. Just so you know….we were still there 2 hours later. But the good news was, Daniel came out and visited with us!!!!
Day 2: Friday, August 21st
7:00 AM - 9:45 AM- Breakfast at the hotel, included, this morning.
9:00 AM - Set your luggage outside your doors / Departing at 9:45 AM - Check out of the hotel and travel to Como Park.
We’ll meet our Como Zoo tour guide - enjoy a lovely tour of the gardens, greenhouse and private animal show before having lunch. At 2:30 PM - We’ll begin our journey homeward after a fun day at the Como Park Zoo!
4:30 PM - Estimated arrival to Cloquet ~ 5:00 PM - to Duluth (Quick fast food stop at the Miller Hill Mall)
6:30 PM - Arrival to Eveleth ~ 6:45 PM Arrival to Virginia ~ 7:15 to Hibbing ~ 8:15 PM - Arrival to Grand Rapids
