Final documents are expected to arrive in early October with final balances due October 10, 2008.
$100 per person deposit is due with each reservation and fully refundable with cancellations made by October 9, 2008. No reservation is considered solid without a deposit paid within 7 days of registering.
Monies returned with cancellations made between October 10th and October 31st are contingent to what Happy Trails Tours receives back from charters, theaters, hotels, and restaurants.
No refunds with cancellations made after November 1st, 2008.
Travel insurance is available to help defray monies lost due to illness, family emergencies, acts of war, etc...at an additional charge. It can offer peace of mind and financial security. Call our office for further information.
We do not accept credit cards for payment. Checks and money orders are accepted.
The tour is completely casual. Wear comfortable shoes and pack along a light weight fall jacket (weather temps run about 50-65 degrees this time of year.) Bring along an umbrella, just in case of rain.
We reserve the right to adjust this schedule for the benefit of all traveling. We have no control over celebrities, theaters, restaurants, hotels, charters or tour companies. If we have to make a change, we’ll replace it with something of equal value or more. Thank you for your understanding.
Because the weather is so unpredictable, we ask you to give us your cell phone numbers and to carry them on your person when traveling on this tour. In 2007, blizzard conditions that swept across the Midwest forced us to stay in Branson one day longer. Events of this nature become the traveler’s personal expense. Insurance also helps defray these last minutes costs. We ask that you keep this in mind when filling out the registration form on the back side.

Ozark Mountain Christmas Day by Day
November 14 - 19, 2008

As the time gets closer, we’ll send along the boarding list which will tell you where and what time you’ll meet the coach. This is a travel day. We’ll get acquainted with one another as the day goes along. We’ll make stops every 2-½ - 3 hours for meals and restroom stops as needed. In early October, we’ll send along this info.
12:00 - 1:15 PM - Lunch break will be at the Burnsville Mall.
5:15 PM - Arrive to the Wildwood Lodge 11431 Forest Ave, Clive, Iowa Phone: 515-222-9876
This is a wonderful property with an indoor pool, coffee makers, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards in the rooms. Tonight we’ll take folks out to dinner at a local restaurant such as; Cracker Barrel or Iowa Machine Shed. You’ll love the “north woods” atmosphere and friendly staff at this place!

Enjoy a nice breakfast at the hotel before we depart for Branson.
6:45 AM - Set your suitcases outside your doors for the porters.
7:30 AM - The bus departs for Branson! A mid-morning stop and a lunch break will be made as the we travel along today.

The Holiday Inn offers an indoor pool, fitness room, irons & ironing boards, coffee makers, hairdryers and a great breakfast each morning. What we think is especially great about this property is that it offers “inside“ corridors, comfy beds with all the new bedding and lots of pillows! PLUS it‘s location is wonderful! It‘s located nearby theaters, restaurants and the Grand Country Inn shopping complex.
5:00 PM - Dinner, included, at Peppercorns. Menu: (Steak, Chicken, Chops Ranch House Buffet)
7:00 PM - Take your seats for the Andy Williams Show at the Moon River Theater

Enjoy a full buffet breakfast this morning at the hotel before going out on today‘s site-seeing tour.
8:30 - 10:30 AM - Take a drive through the lovely Ozark Mountains! You’ll learn about the history and the people who lived in these mountains as well as how Branson, Missouri and the Ozarks became a popular tourist destination. If you’ve done the tour before and would like to take this time to do a bit of shopping at Branson Landing, we’ll drop you there before the tour begins and pick you up there about 2 hours later.
11:15 PM - Arrive to the Showboat Branson Belle for a wonderful luncheon cruise. (Beef & Chicken plated)
4:00 - 5:30 PM - If time and traffic permit, we’ll stop by our hotel to relax and freshen up for evening activities.
5:45 PM - Dinner, included, today at Fall Creek Steakhouse - sit down dinner. (Choice of: Catfish, Fried Chicken, BBQ Brisket, Pork Ribs or Rib-Eye Steak)
7:45 PM - Reserved seats to see the The New Shanghai Circus - Featuring the Acrobats of China.

Another full breakfast at the hotel awaits you before boarding the coach for another wonderful day.
10:00 AM - Enjoy another wonderful show….the Hughes Brothers, at the American Family Theater.
Right after the Hughes’ Brothers Show, we’ll travel to the Tri Lakes Theater. Our lunch will be there. They will have prepared box lunches for each of us! It will be a mix of ham or turkey sandwiches, with chips, dessert and bottle of water. Because the traffic is so heavy and trying to get a lunch between the two shows is very tight, we’ve decided to do box lunches for everyone!
12:45 PM - Box lunch included.
2:00 PM - Take your seats for the Daniel O’ Donnell! His show can vary in length from 2 to 3 hours.
5:45 PM - Enjoy a wonderful dinner, included, at the McFarlains Restaurant (Choice between 5 entrées )
7:30 PM - Take your seats Shoji Tabuchi Theater. His show will last about 2-½ hours.

Breakfast is included again this morning.
8:00 AM - Set your luggage outside your doors for the porters to bring to the coach.
9:00 AM - Board the coach.
12:30 PM - Arrive to Kansas City - Hallmark Shopping Complex - (We’ll get lunch here and stay about 2 hours)

Again… wonderful property with an indoor pool, coffee makers, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards in the rooms. There are many restaurant choices around the hotel where you can get dinner tonight, paying on own.

6:00 AM - Wake UP Call ~ 7:00 AM - Set your luggage outside your doors for the porters.
8:00 AM - Board the coach and travel home this morning.
We’re off and running this morning with a fair amount of miles to travel homeward. Stops will be made for breaks and meals as the day goes along. We should arrive to the Cloquet/Duluth area about 6:30; Eveleth/Virginia area about 8:00; Hibbing at 8:30; and Grand Rapids folks will get home about 8:30 pm. These are only estimated arrival hours.
